I don’t know the details but I would just raise the No. 2 bug in the bug tracking system with the reason that “found during fixing the shite No.1”. If you’d be helpful, you may record the test case which reproduces the bug.
I think that“能不干就不干,能害人就害人”。“别人都挖个坑,躲在旁边看笑话,你在坑上插个牌子,别人能不恨你吗?”is not a good idea at all but “因工作的事烦恼”is worth nothing either.
Software is always buggy and one strategy is to let customers to report bugs and the vendor fix them. From QA point of view, as long as the software passes a set of tests, it can be released. Some bugs are there but they never show up because of the complexity of software. Another idea, don’t fix bugs, fix those people. Then you can do what you want.
