1. suck out as much water as you can first.
2. dilute bleach 20 to 1 with water, use a sprayer spray on carpet, rent a shampoo machine if you don't own one, shampoo it once or twice.
3. use a carpet blower if you have, if not box fan is fine.
4. if you can find some lemon spray from any chemical store, it will cover the odor, if not, pinesol works too.
5. wait till the carpet dry, shampoo with bleach again.
haha, you will find household bleach works wonders in rental property...
haha, 柳眉儿 is right, here comes bleach the savior..........
