College coaches usually have hard time to adopt the tempo of pro football during their transition.  Former Stanford coach, Pete Carroll, is struggling in Seattle.  Steve Spurrier failed miserably in Washington.  Nick Saban was kicked out from Miami.  Those coaches were very popular in college but their reputation was ruined after they became NFL coaches.
