What did you think was the purpose of the meeting? I'm not trying to give you a hard time but I don't understand your comment. I have serious concerns about our ability to meet all the deadlines for June. It did not appear to me that we were headed in the right direction. Ron (another manager on the account, my co-worker) brought up 2 points today. Why wasn't this brought up before today? The bar has been raised substantially and we need to nail this cycle. I will have you guys do more planning going forward so you don't have this problem again.
It is your responsibility to make sure your people get these items done. This comment should not upset you because it is your job. That requires you to set deadlines that can be met and to constantly follow-up to make sure things are on target. I can tell you I will be doing that a lot more with you guys. You will be doing that a lot more with them.
