从这个角度来说，你的手下不能meet the deadline是你的责任。恕我直言，你老板说得没有错“It is your responsibility to make sure your people get these items done。”你的email在我看来是offensive的。

如果我是你，我会在明天第一时间和老板沟通，倒不一定要直接认错，但要让老板感到你的诚意。同时和你的手下沟通，meet the deadline。

没关系，我老板经常说比这重得多的话。Don't take it personal。多多沟通，让你的老板对你的工作满意是Golden rule。
