I absolutely agree with you that bad officiating

are everywhere. That Bavetta in last game is one of the worst idiots. NBA becomes more and more of a floppers' world, bunch of whinning sissies. The hand checking rule, the way of actions in the restriction area is called etc etc are just rediculous. NBA is the only professional sports where you can legitimately "DRAW" a foul, get rewarded for flopping. That's just total BS. Don't even get me started:-)

I would say lots of officials are not qualified, but I do not believe there is a consensus conspiracy. That's just too dangerous, and you can't cover it up for so long in a country like US, where individulism is highly regarded. There will always be whistle blowers. It's just not worth it for NBA to do anything that stupid. They don't care who wins. No matter how good or bad Lakers, Knicks, Pistons play, those are always big markets.
