I did not speculate. It was not me who stated "The law, either Chinese or U.S. common law, has no provisions to order L.D.take care of his biological mother". What do you mean by "factual non-existence"? As a matter of fact, the natural parent-child relationship has been existing ever since, both legally and factually. I am not aware of any law in the US or in China that permits blood parents to disclaim such relationship. One way, maybe the only way to cut it off, is through adoption.
I am not trying to judge whether seeking remedy at a court is right or wrong. How absurd may it be, now the dispute is in the court anyway. You cannot ask the complainant to drop the law suit because YOU THINK it is not sensible to bring it in the first place, can you?
