In case of fire the process to get reimbursement is very long. You need to match your risk with your resources and reserve to avoid a knock-out negative cashflow situation.

For my self I had experienced a multi-unit fire that took more than 7 months to get payment from insurance. During this period I have to keep putting the money collected from my other properties to keep my crew working on the rebuild.
