This is only in Seattle

This law is very unique, there is nothing like it in US.  Time will tell if this will relieve some homeless problems.  

Previously the Obama housing department gave a directive saying landlord should not have blanket rule of not renting to people with ANY criminal history, but the landlord is suggested to look at the criminal history and separate those long ago or non-violent to those recent and violent.  

But that housing rule is reversed or not enforced by Trump administration.
