1. Fast Walk
I fast walked at least one hour per day when I first tried to lose weight,
sweating like crazy in hot summer days. I could feel the after-walk
fat-burning all afternoon.
2. Count Calories
Counting calories was useful, at least in the beginning.
Decide how much calories you need one day, e.g., 1400.
Eat about that amount whole foods and don't single-mindedly cut food.
3. Keep a Diary
Find/estimate the #calories of each food item you take and
WRITE IT DOWN. Also write down your weight for the day
to track progress.
