Halloween trick treat with racial decimation?

I took my two kids to towncenter Halloween party one week ago.

I dressed them up with customs. I know kids should not trick treat without custom. But at one store, the girl in front of us got kit kat from one bag, but the sale lady gave my boys other, not chocolate kind of cheaper candy from another bag. It did not happen in one store, several of those stores did that, giving different candy to asian kids and white kids.

My friend who went there with us asks them to give her kid chocolate up front. I didn’t do that, too embarrassed to ask. But, I really felt uncomfortable. I wanted my kids having fun, getting balloon from the crown, taking hey ride, etc. They didn’t notice what happened at all. When we went back home, I told my hu*****and what happened. My hu*****and said I should do the same thing as my friend.
