顶尖大学最受欢迎的专业

我整理了一份来自50所top大学(US News)2020毕业生专业的名单。这份名单不包括文理学院，我最初对有多少计算机专业的毕业生感兴趣，所以我包括了一些不在US News排名前 50 名的学校但在 CS 方面很好的大学。下表中的百分比是该专业的毕业生占毕业生总数的百分比.  I hope this info will help students and parents to decide which schools to apply for their dream majors.  I have info for Class 2019 data.  they are very consistent with Class 2020.

在这50大学中，有20所大学的CS专业排名第一。在排名前 25 的大学中，有 13 所CS 是最受欢迎的专业.  这些学校是普林斯顿大学、哥伦比亚大学、麻省理工学院、斯坦福大学、加州理工学院、杜克大学、布朗大学、圣路易斯华盛顿大学、康奈尔大学、赖斯大学、伯克利大学、密歇根大学、CMU、塔夫茨大学、加州大学欧文分校、佐治亚理工学院、CWRU、威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校、普渡大学、马里兰大学公园。在同样的 50 所大学中，有 40 所大学的 CS 位居最受欢迎专业的前 6 名。Only UCLA, Emory, Georgetown, NYU, UCSB, Wake Forest, Boston College, UC Davis, W & M, Tulane do not have CS major in their top 6 popular majors.

第二受欢迎的专业是计量经济学和数量经济学 (Econometrics/Quantitative Economics)。一些大学特别是公立大学也以经济学(Economics)为专业，而不是计量经济学和数量经济学。我把它们组合在一起。有37所大学的计量经济学和数量经济学进入这些大学最受欢迎的前6个专业。

第三个最受欢迎的专业是生物学/生物科学(Biology/Biological Sciences)。有 25 所大学本专业进入前 6 名最受欢迎的专业。Potential Pre-med graduates?
