I was selected as a jury couples of years ago.
Here was the process, the initial selection was 24 memebers, and the lawyers will question each member. Based on the answers, the lawyers have authority to select the final 12 members as the jury.
The lawyers will eliminate those who may have relationships or bias to either the defendent or prosector.
