Class 2015 Career Report, the job placement from Wharton undergrad this year is absoulutely INSANE!!
Highlights:
Myself personally, as well as the general consesus I have gathered over the last couple years from a variety of sources would consider the Wharton undergrad being more impressive. The raw intelligence of the Wharton undergraduates is simply higher then that of the MBA students; the latter with ~60% of student population from less impressive undergraduate colleges (or in other words, they were unable to get into a program of Wharton's caliber when they applied to college). Someone even said that Wharton undergrads are "extremely sharp, and routinely beat out MBA studenst when they take the same courses." Many MBA students are trying to switch their careers (so-called career-reset button), because they were not satisfied with their first job. However, keep in mind that for some of the very top jobs (like HF & PE), it is generally not easy to get them even with a top flight MBA (say, HSW or M7) but without a highly prestigious undergraduate name or prior experience before MBA.
