Good News For Low GPA Students; Harvard admission higher than Co

Hello There,

Has anyone play Naviance for college match? 

My child tried to withdraw foreign languages due to possible B grade. The counsellor does not agree because the counsellor does not think GPA will affect college admission that much. 

In deed I used counsellor Naviance account to do college match : with GPA range 3.3 to 3.6 and SAT 2100 to 2300. 
I got bellow data. 

Harvard has 17% admission rate 1 out of 6 applicants.

Any expert can explain the data for low GPA admission rate for top colleges?
