为什么Yale学生有点自卑感？

这里说的是当他们面对Harvard and Princeton的时候。比如在US News and World Report的大学排名网站上，一位Yale学生在Student Reviews里是这么开头的：“Yale is the best...relative to Princeton and Harvard.”Yale学生发表类似的宣言并不少见。但这不是恰恰证明Yale学生在H,P面前底气不足，需要这样大声喊话来为自己提升自信心吗？还从来没听过H,P的学生宣告“Harvard is the best.”或者“Princeton is the best.”不像Yale学生,H,P学生觉得根本没必要这样向世界宣告。这说明H,P学生更有自信，不想为这点小事浪费口舌。

大家说说是什么原因导致Yale学生产生这种心态？是因为他们太看重US News Ranking，而Yale每次都被定为老三所致？还是因为他们自知不如H,P？

本人对Yale没有成见，仅是好奇，准备连续接砖。
