给没被录取的2012家长吗们:得抓紧时间加强申请

这次H, P的加入,已提前分掉了1500位置. 不光如此,两校 EA 录取率出奇地高,如果你孩子没给录取,剩下位置在regular admission时的竞争大为增加.

比如H这次18% EA录取率,意味着ED时就只有4.5%的录取率 (用去年的总数做估计),相比于历史上H最低的去年数据, 6.1%,更低了不少.

按我的back of envelope计算,去年被HYPSM至少一个录取(w assumption on the joint probability for multiple admissions) 的机率是 25%; 因为H, P的EA分流情况,今年在ED时这几率会降到 20%.

如果要在RD时能完胜, 在今后两周内你孩子得更用心地完成ED的申请.
