The math is definitely wrong and does not make sense. If each school has 6.1% admission rate, then the student admitted by more than one school at the same time can not be higher than 6.1%.
The EA admission rates for H and P are not particularly high at all and just normal. Early pool is different from regular pool. In EA pool, there are academic super stars, legacies, development admission, etc. Yale usually has EA rate of 14-15% and regular around 5% and overall of 7-8%.
