The biggest advantage of HYP is that it will help you get into the professions that others are unlikely to get into from a regular school.

In the two major professions (financial services and consulting) that HYP students are most likely getting into, 专业 is not really an issue.  Nobody really cares about what you study in college. 

What is 热门专业?  Engineering?  I can tell you for a fact that most of the Engineering students from Princeton choose not to get engineering jobs.

I found many people who did not go to HYP have a huge misunderstanding about the career path and opportunities for HYP graduates.
