租客突然搬走

租客今天突然通知我们，他已经搬走。他的合同是到明年5月底的。他要我们没收他的两个月的押金，不然他说我们也可以去法庭告他。现在是节日淡季，不好租。不知道两个月是否能租出去。请问大家的经验，该怎样回复这个租客？谢谢。
