You try EVERY possible way to serve the notice, keep all the record of evidence, such as, attempt of personal service by knocking on door, leaving the notice at the door, attempt of electronic service (txt msg), attempt of certified mail service.
If you have all the evidence of "due diligence" in serving the notice, during the eviction the court will recognize it.
DO YOUR 100% DUTY, and stop worry about what the other party might do. Or hire a lawyer. Or borrow some books, Or research on internet.
