我是新手第一次买房,向各位房地产大师请教

最近看上一个房子,但这个房是"short　ｐａｙ＂，我是新手，第一次买房，不知道买＂ｓｈｏｒｔｐａｙ＂有什么风险，会不回这里面隐藏了很多东西，我买下后，会不会有　multiple loans, liens, back taxes, be in need of major repairs等需要我负责．另外我找的是ｌｉｓｔagent, 自己没有Agent,这样一来是否风险更大?
