With all due respect, didn't follow your serious story, just above.

Because you lack of knowledge and experience, subsequently can't make
reasonable judgment and business decision. That Chinese attorney, IMHO, gave
you professional opinion for the best of your interest. Simply because you
didn't LIKE to hear what the best possible reality is, you took it the WRONG
way.
