Trying to mix capitalist practice into socialism may sometimes seem to work, or will work for a while, like that now in China. But over the long term it will lead to disasters. A mix of socialism and capitalism will not be able to bring forth the advantage of both systems, instead, it will degrade either system. Greenspan is right, the current weird mix will not work for the long term.
