At Los Angeles, a Taiwanese bought a house, then

went back Taiwan. When he came back 3-4 years later, he found some homeless live there. He went to police then court, court decided the house belongs to that homeless because the house had no owner and the homeless lived there for more than 1(?) year.

This happened at 1990s. The Taiwanese bought it in cash.
