Yes, this is true too, so another benefit. The tax law is basically too complicated and changes too often, so if there is anything in our favor, we should catch it right away. You never know what those people in Congress are going to do next.

The same goes with the estate tax and dividend tax (currently only 15%) as well.

As I emphasized again and again, when your portfolio is small, you don't worry too much about tax; but as your portfolio grows, tax is one of the major considerations you have to pay extra attention to.
