housing is increasing defensively in inflation env

, it is inflation drag housing price up. In an inflation env, things/companys/investments that has pricing power will go up first and more than the rest, so to be against inflation, you need to invest in sth with monopoly pricing power like MSFT, EBAY, Drug companys with Patents, that is just one way of thinking. House itself is a commodity.
