bond holder will sell USD bond and dump the USD debts to bond market. It eventually will drive the interest rate higher or US can not finance its debts.
When US dollar goes, it will bring down the US economy with it and stock market as well. Who wants to buy US stock if it is depreciating rapidly?
If Bernanke has some brain, I am sure he does, he wont cut rates like Greenspan. His helicopter speech can very well be the smoke.

Most people here want to have long term prosperity of US economy, even with some severe pain in the short term. Most people here said they hope rate rise have already had their own house.
