You may claim you can handle all your kid,s homework. However, teaching them is different--how to make them understand is the key. You can solve a 3rd grader,s problem by algebra, but your kids may not understand. Therefore, reading your kid.s text book is the key to teach them--you stand at the same level.

My son is a all straight A student. However, he still bring questions to me. As a dad, I do my best to explain. If I can not solve it, I do research to find a way he understand, sometime it MIT take me 30 minutes to just find a proper way to explain even I know the answer.

It is fun to study together with your kid. Not just for a good grades in school,also you can build the bind between you and your kids. Parenting have many different styles.
