相比较而言, solving math problems is

more useful than playing chess. Hey, but, one can not push kids to do this kind of stuff. When my son started playing chess when he was 5, he was absolutely hooked on it - he would play day and night and I was concerned that he might get brain damage :)

However, I started to think that 我要好好培养 then I started to take him to local tournaments and then national tournament ... all of a sudden he refuses to play!

"好好培养"的想法 is very dangerous LOL
