急问，加州新地主terminate notes要怎么样给房客？

新地主一枚，就遇到麻烦房客，从５月份起就断断续续的拖欠房租．这个月（１２月）的房租，今天都９号了，还没付。　

到目前为止欠３０００多元，他们的Lease１月５号　满一年。

我昨天写了Three day notice to pay rent or quit and 30 days notice terminating month -to-month Tenancy.

昨天他们没在家，我订门上一个，然后又去邮局邮寄了一个，。

请问，我想让他们到１月５号搬走，　刚看到给法院的ＵＤ－１００,怎么说是，要订门上，还要邮寄，　还要给一个人？

到底要怎么做，才可以合法让他们搬走？
