how is the life in NJ compare to BA?

We might have to move out Bayarea to NJ due to recent layoff. Although there are some other opportunities avaliable in BA, consdiering the pension benefits and unvested stock option, it seems it' more money wise to move there?

Can you share your thoughts for the two places, traffic, weather, education, house, food, scenary..etc
