My Mexican contractor told me Mexican likes tile floor.

So we followed his suggestion to put tiles for all bed rooms in one of our rental property. 

The good thing for landlord is it is very duable and we don't have to change it periodically.

(One of my rental property has full lamilate floor, the floor is fine except they dropped paint on it, but the T-molding are missing after a while). 

Later, the new tenant told me they liked tile floor because it is very easy for them to clean.

I am still not very sure whether it is true that tile is better for Mexican tenants.
