怎样查self-employed房客收入

一个申请者自己拥有一个 Environmental Company，实际也就是在自家地下室开的夫妻老婆公司。他填年收入9万，雇主就是他自己。打电话给“雇主”查收入当然没有意义。要tax returns? 还是bank statements?
