提上来请教dallascowboys:how about several mixed layers for unfinished

I am going to do wood stairs soon. Will buy unfinished red oak tread and

do the coating myself.

how about several mixed layers?

I meant first coat high gloss a couple times then Semi-gloss? Would this be

a good combination or at least it makes sense for some application, if not for stairs?
