Yes, these days you need license to be a loan officier. In your credit report, any inquiries within 30 days for same purpose is counted as "1 inquiry". These days, underwriters will make inquiry multiple times duing loan process; so if you do multiple loans at the same time, very likely you'll get caught and need to sign a letter to explain reasons for the inquiries from other lenders.

Some old tricks worked before but not nowadays :<(
