非常困惑，希望有朋友可以帮我解答

不知道是否应该POST 在这里，但实在是没人可以问了，这里朋友有好多买房高手，所以请教大家。

买一个CONDO，在做LOAN 的时候已经接近尾声，只有2天就是CLOSING DATE 了，突然LENDER (WELLS FARGO)要我填一个表格叫W-8BEN(CERTIFICATE OF FOREIGN STATUS OF BENEFICIAL OWNER FOR US TAX WITHHOLDING). 我是H1B, 在美国已经工作了很多年，在办绿卡。我觉得我不应该填这个表, 但是LENDER 说我不是US CITIZEN, 又没有GREEN CARD, 那我就是NON-PERMANENT RESIDENT ALIEN, 所以一定要填不然不放款。我没有办法。只有2天就是CLOSING DATE 了，所以就签了。现在放款了，房子也拿到了。但是我很害怕也不开心，签了那个FORM我会不会有什么TAX CONSEQUENCES，对我的绿卡申请会有影响吗。

请朋友帮我指点迷津。感恩不尽。
