You can work hard on $$ with experience, knowledge, networking (friends....) if you are not ready to retire; or you can "retire" and start enjoy including working as a volunteer. I was the math coach for "Olympic Math" team in my kids' school. The team earns the trophy for school and I got to have so much fun with kids and earn my kids' admiration (For those of you who are parents, how many times do you get "you don't understand" from your kids?)
