It seemed that your Chinese was fairly good. This guy did not describe the situation clearly enough in his post. From his post in Chinese, I would guess his contractor was trying to explain to him although the heat exchanger in his house was working fine at that moment, the cooling coils for R22 would be discontinued soon. The author should consider having the heat exchanger replaced now. The problem was that newer heat exchanger (房间里的机器) required the space longer than 5 feet. But the current space available was only 5 feet. I did not get what kind of heat exchanger would need such a big space due to my limited knowledge. The AC unit was a 3-ton unit. My guess about the situation is that the author's house does not have a basement. All furnace and cooling coils for AC are installed in a utility room with limited space not necessary in a closet or in the attic. The author needed your advice whether he should have the whole heat exchanger replaced if it was still working.
My interpretation could be misleading as well. Thank you. I want to learn more from you too.
