We will stay to licensed then.  Will also shop around to see if I can find cheaper ones.

We have 22-ft high dining room and living room.  The family room has two sides of big tall glass windows, so it won't lack lights even we top it.  And indeed, we need an extra room to entertain my demanding kids.

Now, back to the beam issue, I know borisq has already kindly replied me.  But for that 15 x 16 space, I'm still worried a bit.  Is it possible for my two extremely naughty boys to get the beam broken in the middle someday?  I'd say underneath support will definitely provide more ensurance.  Nevertheless our handy man laughed at me. Sigh ....
