Is it viable to buy a hotel and keep the current management

Hi Va_Landlord and etl,

I am not looking to get involved in the hotel management. But is it viable to buy a hotel, keep the current management stuff and still make money? What are the potential pitfalls of buying a hotel?

Your advice would be very much appreciated.
