加州地主，你们一般收多少security deposit? 1 month rent?

加州地主，你们一般收多少security deposit? 1 month rent? 我知道limit是2 month rent.

刚有一不错的potential tenant因为我收application fee $30和 1 month+$400 deposit而申请别的房子去了。似乎对于low income的家庭，一点点钱都差别很大。所以想请教一下standard practice.
