1. of course you waited too long for eviction.
2. your attorney is right, you are require by law to store his personal items for period of time, depends on where you at, 6 months in Indiana.
3. if you intend to sale his stuff and recoup some lost, call an assignment auction, they will come get it, and pay you whatever left after auction, but don't expect too much, lucky if you get a 100 bucks.
4. if you don't think his shit worth anything, just don't pay the storage fee, the storage company will confiscate whatever left inside, they do storage auctions, lol.
5. or, put an ad on craiglist, just said free stuff, $ if single items, free if take all.
