Cancelled the contract of my latest offer

and gave it back to some lucky guys (who offered much higher).

Clearly on the short sale addendum, it says:

   "Seller and the family members cannot 'remain' in the property as renters."

Apparently, this rule worked well for banks. :)  But it will demotivate home owners to do short sale and cause low inventory for the affordable houses, which might be what the banks hoped.
