2006年，通过TREASURY DIRECT，买了30年的US TREASURY BOND， COUPON RATE 4.5%， 因为是RETAIL BUYER，he purchased at par. Total $50K

 

This investment worth roughly 140.70 x 500 = $70350. With Interest payment

2250x5 + 1125 (2012 1st half) = $12375.

 

Total return = (82725 - 50000)/50000 = 65.45%

 

Annual Return Rate (Simple, Not Compound) = 11.9%

 

Boring, Safe, 回报不错
