War consumes. Long war brings nation to the poor hourse.

孙子兵法第一篇就说了"兵者， 国之大事， 死生之地， 存亡之道， 不可不察也"

That is same for US and China. If China would ever venture to a war like that, short China like no tomorrow. Because a country would never last long to sustain its consumption by impoverish other countries.
