Ask for closing cost credit from loan broker

Seems it's quite common to ask realtor for credit when buy a house. What about loan broker? I want to refinance my houses with same broker. Broker in my state gets compensation of 1.25% of loan amount. Any idea if asking credit back toward closing is common in refinance?
