DO YOU MISS THAT DEDUCTION, STATE TAX PMT IN 2011?

 

DON'T MISS AN IMPORTANT TAX DEDUCTION:  any STATE/LOCAL TAX PAID in 2011 for previous years.

these include:

- 2010 estimated tax pmt;

- a pmt made w/ 2010 state extension request;

- a pmt made when you filed your 2010 state or local tax return.  

they are different from taxes taken out of your paycheck - withheld.  most importantly, they are tax deductible on sch A of form 1040.
