Most of us could gain knowledge and experience from picking up stocks by ourselives, whatever failure or success. In a long term run, knowledge and experience are talent.
I am reading 《股票作手回忆录》，Livingston曾两三次赔到零分钱，还有一次破产。

但这又有什么呢？他最后又赚了很多钱。我们还有好几十年活的，即便有失败，一次两次只是暂时的挫折而已。
