thanks LZ. Being a Texan and got spoiled of not filing state taxes.

I have a floor cost $2800 installed in 2011 in rental house. Federal depreciation can claim all $2800 for this year. CA only claim $2800-$2660 = $140 for the year, is this mean I need 20 year to claim this?
